Journal: omgosh its been a few months...

I believe I have some serious issues keeping up with a blog on a daily.. weekly.. shoot even monthly basis. Oh well I'll keep trying to update this ever chance I get.

I keep this going only for Emma. This is her blog, her story, bits and pieces of mom and dad, things that we love, and things that make up who we are.

I don't simple stop documenting even tho the blog itself gets neglected. I keep up through Facebook and Pintrest.

So whats going on in Emma's life??

one word.. Potty Training!

Since today you snagged of your diaper and decided to poop on the floor!!! ahhhh We figure its officially time to kick it in and get you going in the potty rather than mommy's floor ;)

I have an awesome article pinned from Pintrest that I will be using to teach you how.

the holidays are near...

So its getting close to that time!

Its almost time for Christmas. I can't wait to spend some family time together. We will be having Christmas for my side on Wednesday. Your grandma Toby will be coming up from Rolla to have dinner at our house. It will be fun, we are doing a pot luck type dinner. I'm sure we will play some games, and then grandma said she wrapped all your gifts in single boxes because she wanted you to have a bunch to open.

On Sunday or Monday we will head up to St. Joesph to have Christmas with Daddy's family. I haven't heard what we have planned yet, but I'm sure it will be fun. I actually haven't even heard what you are getting yet!!

The rest of the time I'll be working and Daddy will be working. I'm continuing to work on you December album and you'll continue to recover from your terrible cold and teething you are doing right now.

BTW:
You have a whopping 14 teeth!! Thats insane little lady.

Love you bunches

I can't believe that this last year was pretty jammed packed of stuff.

Your everyday-
7 am Wake up bottle and diaper change by Daddy or Mommy
830 am Mommy is getting ready for work, and you are taking your first nap with Daddy.
The rest of the day you stay home with Daddy- you guys will nap and play, learn and eat. Cry and laugh, and watch your favorite movies like Despicable Me.
Mommy works somewhere between 8-12 hours running her own store. I manage a Halloween store/Toy store in the mall.
I'm usually home in time to spend some fun time playing and dancing around. We will relax together, take a bath, read, watch a movie, eat snacks, and play outside.
11pm Daddy goes to work.
12am You are in bed for the night.
You will usually sleep most nights in your bed all night, sometimes you cry and sneak in bed with me.

Some of your favorite activities are-
Playing outside
Playing with sticks! <-- yes sticks. if you are outside you'll have one in hand.
watching movies like Megamind and Rango
You love to eat cheerios, crackers, and baby puffs.
You love your sippy cup full of apple juice/water
You still drink a 6oz bottle every 3-4 hours
You pretty much run the entire house. The floor is covered in every toy imaginable.

Some of the things you hate-
bows in your hair
getting dressed
and having your butt changed.

Here are some of my favorite photos and times from this last year-
the day you were born
our second family photo
our first easter
the first time you met your great grandfather
the first time mommy caught the perfect photo
 first time swimming
 first trip to the zoo
 your first birthday
and your first Christmas eve. The most beautiful smile ever.

I also have some of the most amazing videos. Funny and amazing moments caught.

So seriously its been WAY to long! 5 months

it may seem as if I've forgotten about you little blog here... trust me I haven't, Its just this last month has taken us for all the time we have.

Pretty much every 24 hours have been spent running, working, playing, sleeping, eating, and everything else you can think of!!

You've also grown so much its simply unreal. I figured I'll just sum it all up really quick-

You hit 5 months!!
You are rolling back to side *almost back to belly*
You talk and scream ALL the time. Don't worry I have it on video!
You've officially met ALL your family.
You cut your TWO bottom teeth..
and you are teething AGAIN top two it looks like.
You have started eating solids-
oatmeal
rice
sweet peas
carrots
sweet potatoes
bananas
peaches!!

yayayaya!!! right?? anyway other than all that we've been living our everyday lives. You normally do something like this:
5 am- wake up and feeding
sleep for a few more hours
7 am- wake up for the day, daddy gets off work, more eating and playing.
12 pm mommy goes to work and you spend the day with Daddy. You guys play and watch movies, eat, learn, and hangout til Mommy gets home. You pretty much do the same thing if Mommy doesn't work, but Daddy gets to sleep ;)
9pm its bath, feeding, reading, and bed time. You sleep in your crib still swaddled for the majority of the night. You usually look for Mommy to get you around 3-4 to sleep with me for a little while.

You are getting so big!! I can't wait to share some photos with you:
