what is that???

a day in the life w/ Ali Edwards

I've done these a few times with her, and I make a smash book section with them. This year I'll combine that with putting a section in my Project Life album. 

I honestly don't think that the smash book will come right away. I'm so overly focused on my project life that I just want to keep everything in one spot, then after time I could go back and add it to the smash book.

my goals for this day in the life?

1. PHOTOS!! I want to snap and snap some more.  

Sadly I wont have my new Iphone 5 until Friday, but tomorrow is such an important day I just couldn't pass up a full day documentation. So I'll mostly try to use my camera phone and instagram to capture. I'll carry around the Canon too.

2. DOCUMENTATION!! I'll be using every method that I normally use to document. I'll use facebook, instagram, my journal, and my calender. 

3. INSPIRATION!! I can't wait, but I want to get on Pinterest and just search and come up with great prompts, stories, layouts, and implement all that into my seafoam project life kit to document it.

I can't wait to capture tomorrow, we already have a busy day planned out...

11:30 am- Meeting with Mortgage Broker to sign paperwork for the new house.

1pm- Meeting at the new house with the Home Inspector.

2pm- Speech Therapy appointment. 

I can't wait to walk around our new home again. We don't actually close until the 28th of February tho.

house hunting has finally paid off

so after 8 long and excruciating months o  house hunting we found the perfect home. it seemed to be one of the hardest choices I've made in my entire life. every choice up to now has been hard sure, but making sure I did everything right to get the perfect home for you to grow up in made it that much harder. I couldn't even count all the emails, late night zillow searches, dirty bathrooms, and indecision on this home search journey. The entire process was amazing, but now I'm moving on to part 2-

 purchasing our first home. this part isn't any less stressful, it is just stressful in a different way. we knew off the house before it went on the market and we loved it immediately.  we seen it and put in the offer the same night. our broker wrote it up in a day or so and had me write out a note to the seller. she was do touched by the note she countered offered only a little and said it was the note that touched her so much she wanted to sell her house to us. we accepted immediately and the house was ours. we go Wednesday to the inspection and to meet with the mortgage broker and we will close on February 28th. I'm spending my time searching pinterest and talking to insurance salesman.

I can't wait to make this new house our h home.

Mommy+Me Journal + January Update

So we are off to a great start so far. The only thing that I haven't been doing is keeping this blog more up to date like I had hoped I would. 

I have done more on the re-design end of things so that's a plus I suppose. I did what took me the longest 

editing each post to the correct label for better organization.

that's one thing off the list of things I hoped to do in January. I've set out to change things and organization was one of those things to work on. 

I picked up a new mommy+me Journal so I'm pretty excited with this one. It was a simple random find and a must do to my strange obsession with notebooks. Though this one in its simplicity has captured exactly what I needed from it. Memories.
